Writer and filmmaker James Gunn (Dawn of the Dead) recently attended an event in Los Angeles called "The Microsoft Experience." Gunn detailed what he saw that night on his personal blog, which included getting a glimpse at a new, touch-screen counter, 3D laptops, a new Zune, and of course, Project Natal, Microsoft's new motion camera for its Xbox 360 console.
He got to demo two Natal titles at the event, the "ball-whacking" game Microsoft has previously shown, and a new, unannounced game called River Rush. Gunn says River Rush allows for two players to participate at the same time.
"It's a game where you stand side by side in a river raft, so it's two people playing at once. To move right, you have to step right; to move left, you have to step left," he wrote. "...you have to jump up and slap floating stars in the air – the whole raft jumps up every time you do."
Gunn's report also confirms that a boxing and football title are in development. While no other details were provided, these two titles are likely part of a larger collection of smaller, more casual-style sports games that will come bundled with Natal when it launches.
Microsoft plans to unveil its full Project Natal lineup at E3 this coming June.
